Hi, I'm Emilie! I was born and raised in mid-coast Maine-- when I graduated from high school, I blew out of town with excitement to see the rest of the world thinking I would wind up in a busy city but for the love of everything Maine, I wound up where I left my heart. Fast forward ten years, I am now settled down on a small coastal Maine island with my husband, our loving daughter and golden retriever. Living in a small coastal town certainly has its drab moments but I've always been one for keeping busy and making the best of what I've got. I'm new to blogging [circa 2019] but hope to enlighten and connect with others who juggle the responsibilities of working full time and embracing the joys of motherhood and... yes, having fun! So what's fun? Everything from music, fashion, fitness and traveling. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the pure joys of cooking and dining and the craze of craft beer. What's even more fun are the full responsibilities of being a mom and maintaining a home that I love. In my self-fueled career as a real estate broker, I have the daily fortune of meeting tons of new people, seeing all kinds of different houses [and all of the busy work that goes along with with]. Every day, I love to reflect on my daily duties and grow those ideas into creations of my own that I just can't help but share. I attended the University of Maine in Orono and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and in French. I now work full time as a real estate broker in the Boothbay Region of beautiful coastal Maine. I have a spunky daughter who is nearing one year old, a husband that lobster fishes and a golden retriever.
